Sarah Mitchell, Ballet Teacher
Sarah began her dance training at the age of 4 in a small country town in Western Australia. She trained in the Cecchetti syllabus before being accepted into the Western Australian Young Dancers Youth Ballet Company in 2005. In 2006 Sarah was accepted into the Australian Ballet Schools Interstate Junior Program. Sarah moved to Perth, Western Australia to further her ballet studies in 2007 where she learnt the Vaganova ballet syllabus under the direction of Kim Baker. In 2010 Sarah performed with the Austrian Ballet Company in their production of Paquita.
In 2011 Sarah was accepted into the National Theatre Ballet Schools Full Time Course in Melbourne, Australia where after 3 years of training and performing she received her Advanced Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance). Whilst at the NTBS Sarah performed in many performances both in ballet and contemporary styles under the direction of Beverly Jane Fry learning the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus.
Sarah Moved to London in February 2016 and has combined the wide variety of syllabus and styles she has learnt over the years to become a diverse and passionate teacher. Sarah is currently working as a freelance dance and ballet teacher.
