Pilates Lessons in Greenwich

Pilates & PBT fitness classes held weekly for adults.

Angelina Jandolo Dance School regularly teaches adults pilates lessons in Greenwich, as well as progressive ballet technique and stretch & strength training.

Currently, we give weekly term-time pilates classes in Greenwich, delivering classes open to complete beginners and those already familiar with the exercises.

Each of our friendly and enthusiastic teachers have trained professionally in internationally renowned conservatoires, going on to perform at national and international levels.

The classes are structured by term to allow steady progression in each of the disciplines, and are suitable not only for those who want to attend for general fitness purposes, but also for those looking to further their dance technique.

We keep the lessons at a sustained pace – you’ll get a workout as well as learning new techniques. Classes are built to help students progress, but are challenging too.

Pilates lessons in Greenwich

Pilates is a full-body, low-impact form of exercise, specifically designed to challenge your core, but additionally to lengthen muscles and improve your balance, joint mobility & posture.

Based on principles first pioneered by Joseph Pilates, you will work against your own bodyweight in controlled, purposeful movements, strengthening and centring your body.

Our teachers have trained and qualified in pilates as well as dance and other forms of exercise, and will work with you to ensure you’re exercising to a level that promotes safe progression via gradual, structured series of classes.

Progressive Ballet Technique in Greenwich

Progressive Ballet Technique was developed in 2005 by Marie Walton-Mahon as a method for training dancers to progress quickly and powerfully in understanding posture, alignment and weight placement.

Today, those founding principles have developed into an internationally acclaimed training program, delivered only by teachers who have undertaken qualifications from the PBT’s institution. Clara, and Angelina teach these methods in Greenwich.

Working on mats, and with exercise balls ands resistance bands, you will train with movements designed to strengthen and stabilise the body, specifically to benefit those keen to progress dance technique (but also as a powerful workout methodology in its own right).

Payments are taken by term, but your very first lesson can be attended via a one-off payment, to check that you enjoy the class.
